CHRISTMAS TRIP TO CHILE

Since it gets so cold here in Texas Andrea and I decided to make a trip to the most southern point possible. Actually it was for class and while I spent the majority of my time in the basement of a hotel taking classes and drinking some of the world’s most potent coffee, my wife had the ability to run around the city. The highlight was spending New Years Eve on the coast and experiencing one of the world’s largest fireworks displays. It was a great experience! Please enjoy the pictures.

Duke Learning to Fetch
Posted by Picasa
I am not sure what it is about a man his dog. What is it that makes a man sit there and take the time to train, retrain, and train again. Why is it so important to us that our dog fetch, or sit, or lay, or bark on comand? And why does the dog continue to fetch?

In this picture Duke is all of about 4 months and to prove that all dogs can swim, has been trown unwillingly into the pool in order to go fect some stupid red ball.

Kevin's Wedding

Wow! How did this happen? We are older, alive, and have short hair. If you were to ask me who my friends were in my hometown, these are the guys I would talk about. In photo order from right to left (not including myself) Gilbert, Kevin, ok well this guy I didn’t know as well, and Nathan. These are the Waco guys. Although in my memories we are a little shorter, louder, crazier, and over all just a much more motley crue (ha!) than what I see in this picture. Come to think of it, who are these guys??
